Today Ouno can announce the completion of a very unique project for us; our custom designed Trophy for GKN Aerospace. The trophy was created for an Awards programme sponsored by GKN Aerospace in association with Eton College and the award was for Best Engineering Paper written by a student. This was a creatively challenging project to work on, but very rewarding to see the finished trophy. Multiple concepts submitted to our clients at GKN Aerospace Sandra Fearon and Andrew Clarke, who selected the intermeshed cogs concept.
We have already created two trophies and there are potentially more to come in the future. On production of trophies Ouno Creative worked with the talented team at Special EFX Ltd to create a truly unique and eye-catching trophy. The inter-meshing cogs were laser-cut from acrylic and the heavy base was made from sections of anodised aluminium. The final trophies look and ‘feel’ great when held. When illuminated with coloured lights they look really beautiful. The Ouno team also designed and printed promotional posters and award certificates.
